Terrific Towels

StraightDraw05-2004-0009.JPG (935256 bytes)Learn about several different weave structures and fibers as you create useful towels for yourself or for gifts. Participants will choose either a 4 or 8-harness loom; cotton, linen, cottolin, and/or novelty yarn; and weave in twill, Ms and Os, waffle weave, overshot, lace, and more. This class allows for several weeks of independent weaving so students may have time to warp a second time or weave multiple towels on one warp.

Prerequisites: Must be able to warp a loom independently
